Chair Covers & Sashes

Beautiful decorations for a wedding can include covering the chairs and adding sashes and embellishments.

Chair covers are used at around 80% of wedding ceremony and/or receptions – often to hide the chairs that the venues are providing. They create that special look at a venue, are the easiest way to transform a room and come in much more than ‘traditional’ white and styles to fit a variety of chairs. The most popular style and traditional look at wedding receptions is using a basic polyester chair cover with an organza or satin sash. Lycra chair covers fit the chair super tight and avoid the problem of the chair cover moving around.

Chair sashes are used to finish off your chairs adding colour and giving a sophisticated, elegant and traditional feel to the wedding. We can supply both satin and organza sashes in lots of different colours. Our chair sashes can also be used as table runners. Adding your own special touches can make sashes more unique.

There are lots of ways to tie chair sashes. The easiest and fastest way is in a knot. You can either tie in a traditional knot, or hide the knot. The one loop bow sash is unique and fairly easy to tie. Tying a bow sash is fairly easy as well. The trick is to make sure you pull the knot tight before you loop the bow. Side bows add a modern and elegant touch. The rosette sash is the most difficult and time consuming, but it has a definite wow factor. Adding embellishments is another way to step up your chair covers a notch. Using shells, flowers or broaches can complete the look you want.
